Types of Opportunities

There are plenty of opportunities for donating your time and effort to our cause. There is lots of work to be done both before and during the Relay. Perhaps you, a group of friends or an organization that you belong to would like to complete a project.

  • Be a part of the planning committee
  • Help with the setting up and taking down of the booths, tents, equipment, etc.
  • Help run & coordinate activities before or after the Relay
  • Work at a booth
  • Help chaperone students
  • Lend your talent as an entertainer
  • Do promotional activities in your community
  • Whether you are an army of one or part of an organization you can make a difference. Perhaps you have a scout troop that would like to help people get their camp sites ready. Maybe you have a knitting circle that would like to make and either sell or donate prayer shawls. Maybe you would like to help write the names on the luminaria bags and help fill them with sand. Perhaps you or your group would like to collect hats and scarves for chemotherapy patients.
